Canadiana Style
Large Blanket Box |
Shaker Style Blanket Box |
These solid pine dovetailed blanket boxes that I’ve created
come in “Canadiana” and “Shaker” styles
and can be finished with authentic milk paint in a variety of
colours or a golden pine clear finish. The bottoms of the blanket
boxes come lined with wonderfully aromatic cedar.
Toy Boxes
My solid pine dovetailed toy boxes are made with
the same care, skill and environmentally friendly finishes as
my blanket boxes.
I’ve built them with two child safety hinges to protect
precious little fingers from being injured when the lid closes.

Trivets
Hot Stuff!!
Hey, my trivets are just what you’ve
been looking for to use under that hot teapot or casserole
dish. They’re made of white oak with a choice
of beautiful hand painted 6”x 6” ceramic
tiles in the centre of it all.
Like all my creations, they're functional
and attractive too!

Mailboxes

Wooden Trays
Deanna’s One Trip Trays
Made with the same care and skill as my other creations, this
tray is designed and built to help you save steps.
The drink holder sections are movable so you can carry your
newspaper or books as well as your beverages and snacks to your
garden or patio. (sorry, beverages not included)
The drink holders are also totally removable and storable so
you can carry larger items in the tray.
Dovetailed for strength and finished with earth friendly finishes.

The Craftsperson
I’ve been interested in woodworking since I was a child.
I trained and eventually found work in an antique reproduction
shop.
After a time, family life took priority over my woodworking
career, but I always hoped that one day I’d be able to
start up my own small shop.
Well, that day finally came.
Today, I’m very proud to be able to offer my creations
(on a limited scale) to old friends and hopefully to some new
ones.
I build and finish every one of my products myself here on
beautiful Mayne Island and all are handcrafted and not factory
produced.
